Qing Ming Grave Sweeping and Talk Story
April 4 @ 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM EDT

Join us for the Qing Ming Festival at Range 99, a memorial dedicated to the unnamed Chinese Americans who were burried there from 1896-1936. While the bodies were sent back to their families in China some time ago, Range 99 represents the legacy of Chinese Americans in Washington DC. The space is also used to honor community members who have since passed. We will take part in grave sweeping, weeding, and de-cluttering the surrounding area of the memorial.
Afterwards, we will head to the 1882 Foundation Office for a Talk Story at 3PM. Our founder, Ted Gong, will give a presentation on family history and the significance of Qing Ming.
Tickets for each event are separate.
