Join us as we launch into the 2019 season of Talk Story Programming with an exciting community discussion on the 150th anniversary of the completion of the first transcontinental railroad, coming up in May 2019. Joining us from New York will be activist and photographer Corky Lee and our Executive Director Ted Gong. The two will lead a discussion about the plans to commemorate the anniversary in Utah and DC, and describe other activities throughout the year to seek to bring Chinese Americans out from the historical background. The parking entrance can only be accessed on I (Eye) Street between 6th/7th Streets. The front entrance to the building on Massachusetts Avenue is NOT open on the weekends.
