“Through Chinatown’s Eyes: April 1968” at the GWU Museum

The 1882 Foundation team, featuring Executive Director, Ted Gong, will be presenting at the George Washington University Museum with a screening of the documentary film Through Chinatown’s Eyes: April 1968.
Following the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and the ensuing civil disorder, Chinatown in Washington, D.C., found itself caught amidst a deep-seeded racial struggle. Through Chinatown’s Eyes: April 1968 explores how residents experienced and navigated the historical moment as it unfolded on their doorsteps.
