Join us for a hands-on Chinese Knot-Making Workshop at Sacramento’s Axis Gallery, led by local artist Muzi Li Rowe. Muzi will share the history and symbolism of Chinese knots and discuss how she reinterprets them in her artwork.

Materials will be provided, but attendees are also encouraged to bring materials from home to experiment with—especially items that might otherwise be discarded.

Admission to the workshop is free and includes access to Fiona K. Lau’s exhibition, After Nature, which explores our changing relationship with the natural world.
