Chinatown Art Studio is a weekly free summertime art program in Chinatown, Washington DC for middle school/junior high youth. By providing tools, skills, and mentorship, the program aspires to aid youth in shaping their personal identities and voices through art.

Founded in 2018 with the sponsorship of 1882 Foundation, Chinese American Citizens Alliance, and the Harrison and Ana Lee Scholarship, Chinatown Art Studio features a mix of art lessons, guest artist speakers & workshops, and excursions. In past years, we have partnered with local businesses like Soul & Ink, institutions like Torpedo Factory, and youth organizations like Jovenes Unidos for enriching collaborative field trip experiences!

Summer 2020: Chinatown Art Studio is offering virtual classes via Zoom from July-August 2020. To join, register below.
