Description: In this video Neil Wong discusses the possibility of designating some of the area around the Summit Tunnels as National Trails. Neil describes the various levels of National Trails; scenic, historic and recreational and gives examples of each. Neil then discusses the characteristics of each level of the trail system and the governmental body which is required to authorize each. Neil hopes to start a conversation about a possible route honoring the Chinese railroad workers around the Summit Tunnels.
